Emotionally destructive black metal dually wielding tumultuous dissonant and depressive edges. It is an interesting juxtaposition between chaotic sounds that do not really correlate, but still work to amplify one another. The instrumentation, mostly guitars, keeps up a melody that continually adds beauty to the darkened tracks. The use of clean vocals (at least for metal) are what make the album all the more harrowing, as they add the pertinent personal anguish to the dread filled lyrics.
